We're doing another happy hour at Lady Jay's tonight. As always, super cheap booze and free BBQ. It's friggin' nice out man, come hang out in the yard and unwind with a drink and a burger. Nora (I Rock I Roll) and Carlos (Nickels & Dimes) are you're DJs. I'm manning the grill (I apologize ahead of time). Our homeboys from Raccoon Fighter will be hanging out with us until their show at Don Pedro's tonight.

Half of Brooklyn is going to see Lightning Bolt tonight. I'm hosting, DJing and grilling at Lady Jay's for the happy hour party I throw with Nickels & Dimes and I Rock I Roll. While it sucks I can't go to the show it will be an awesome place to have a few drinks before you go. Happy hour specials go from 6-10pm and I'll be grilling up free burgers and dogs out back in the yard. The weather is fucking perfecto today so make sure you swing by.

Stop by Lady Jay's after work and have a few drinks and hot dogs. The hot dogs are free and the booze is pretty damn cheap. Tonight is another installment of our happy hour party at Lady Jay's. As always we've got cheap booze but this time around we're adding FREE burgers and dogs! It's 50 degrees out, that's BBQ weather ain't it? We'll be spinning rock n' roll, garage, indie, punk, outlaw country and soul. You'll be getting drunk, playing shuffle bowling and stuffing charred beef down your gullet. The free food and booze deals are from 6-10pm so come straight from work. Seriously, if you go home first you'll end up taking a nap and miss the whole damn thing. I know you, dude. See you punks tonight!

Another Edition Of FORlokals Happy Hour (Wednesday)

Now that everyone is back in town again (ie. SXSW is over) we're having another edition of our Grand St. happy hour at Lady Jay's. As always it's on Wednesday and we've got cheap booze for ya. This time around it's $3 PBR Tall Boys, $4 wells, $4 Bushmills shots and, as always, 2x$5 Lionshead. We're also firing up the grill and cooking up some burgers and dogs, which are FREE! We'll be serving them up from 6-10pm or until we run out. Nora and Carlos are DJing (I might jump in at some point). The weather is supposed to be a crisp and sunny 50 degrees (last time I checked at least)!

We're doing another edition of our bi-weekly happy hour at Lady Jay's. Nora is out of town so I'll be taking over her DJ duties. I'll be playing garage, punk, grunge, country and tons of Brooklyn bands. I've never actually DJd in public before so come out and watch me embarrass myself. Tonight is the third installment of our bi-weekly happy hour at our favorite Brooklyn bar Lady Jay's. The drinks are super cheap (awesome). And how many happy hours run until 10pm? Not many but ours does. Again, I do this with my pals Carlos (Nickels & Dimes) and Nora (I Rock I Roll). We do this because we want to hang with all you guys so come out and have some drinks with us!

FORlokals: A Grand St. Happy Hour (Tonight)

Grand St. (the part on the East side of the BQE) is fucking awesome. Awesome bars and great food abound. It even has three stops on the L train. You or several of your friends probably live in this neighborhood, I know I do. It's my personal favorite for best strip in Brooklyn right now.

As such, we (myself, Nora of I Rock I Roll and Carlos of Nickels & Dimes) have decided to put together a happy hour for our friends and neighbors on Grand St. We've got $2 High Life and $3 beer, wells and wells shots from 6-9pm. Carlos and Nora will be your DJs for the night. It all goes down at Ontario Bar. Stop by on your way home from work.

***Update: The Groundhog says it's going to be a short winter! I've had enough of this bullshit. Let's celebrate!
