I found out a couple weeks ago that the best metal bar in NYC,
Duff's, was moving. What I didn't realize was that it happened this past weekend. While it's a bit of a bummer they left the old N. 3rd spot it's kinda fucking awesome that they moved pretty close to where I live! Now I can go drink cheap booze and listen to Pantera whenever I want (and not be alone). The new Duff's is located at 168 Marcy, near Broadway.
While we're on the topic of Pantera Duff's will be hosting a Dimebag tribute party on Saturday. Let's not forget one of the best guitar players, and all around good dudes, in metal history. Of course, I'll be at a fucking wedding in Jersey but have a Blacktooth shot for me.
