Television, Apples In Stereo, & Dragons Of Zynth @ Central Park Today!

You should already know about this show so consider this your reminder. It starts at 3PM and ends around 7PM. There's really no good reason not to go...unless your apartment hunting or something (Damn it!). Again, this is totally free and it's Richard Lloyd's last performance with the band - or so he says.

I left before they performed their 17 minute opus. Their show was definitely very boring. I can't imagine that Tom Verlaine did this stuff 30 years ago at Cb's and Max's. Then again-- i wouldn't expect him to do this stufff 30 years ago.

Also, the Apples were plagued by sound problems as was Television.

I disagree- I thought they were great! They only kept playing to piss off that stagehand. He kept telling them to stop after it hit 7pm. I think they were just being assholes- which I thought was pretty funny. I agree on the sound problems though

I thought Apples In Stereo were actually quite good despite the rain. Television did get dull at times but there was enough guitar angst to keep it interesting for the most part.
