This is just funny - Corey, the singer for Slipknot, has his own Tenacious D cover band. The name of the cover band is Auspicious P. Now I'm not a fan of Slipknot but I would be interested in hearing this. I suspect it pales in comparison to the D. I find it amusing that a profession musician probably lacks the skills (vocally & instrumentally) to cover the music of an actor.

Amazingly Slipknot side projects tend not to be so craptastic. Case in point: To My Surprise
Corey Taylor is a surprisingly good singer and guitarrist. Don't just dismiss him because he screams in Slipknot.
